Aircraft Spirals Out of Control into Palm Groves at Well-Known Southern California Coast
An aircraft flying over a crowded California shoreline suddenly began spiraling out of control, finally dropping height and smashing into a row of palm groves as beachgoers looked on.
Recordings posted on the internet capture the aircraft beginning to twirl near the shoreline then falling towards the perimeter of the shore, where it gets stuck between palms and a staircase adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.
Rescue Operation Details
Local firefighters said five persons were taken to hospital comprising two who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” following the incident on the weekend.
Three people on the pavement were injured. Details on their condition were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.

Officials said the aircraft was linked to an yearly “Cars N Copters” benefit occasion planned for the following day.
