Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising partnership that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of banned rituals and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine cult.
The questline focuses on "strange trials and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Transformations
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Extra Content
Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to numerous objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Update
This release also introduces the game's latest no-cost story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
