Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
